As Chef de Partie at a central restaurant location, you’ll be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations.
Key responsibilities for the successful Chef de Partie:
- Manage a section of the kitchen and ensure timely, quality food preparation
- Assist in creating and developing menus in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are adhered to
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Maintain stock levels and minimise waste
Qualifications required for the Chef de Partie:
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
