My client in Shrewsbury requires a Factory Operative.
The position is full time, temp to perm, Monday to Friday 5.30am – 14.00pm. This client is looking for individuals who are available for an immediate start.
You will be joining an already established friendly team on their shop floor so ideally we are looking for a candidate who works well with others.
As a Factory Operative you will be:
- Checking machines are running correctly
- Using different tools and machinery to cut the PVC down to different sizes and measurements
- Checking the finish product is correct
- Taking of any edgings of plastic
- Getting all orders ready for dispatch
- Moving materials around the yard and factory
- Keeping your work area clean and tidy
The ideal Factory Operative should be:
- Reliable
- Hardworking
- A Team player
- Enthusiastic
- Happy to be on their feet for 9 hours a day
- Ready to start work at 05.30am
- Having previous factory / manufacturing experience would be preferred but not essential
