My client is looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join their warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks to move materials within and around the warehouse, factories, and yard efficiently and safely.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6.30pm.
Duties:
- Operate forklift trucks to transport materials around the business.
- Unloading of goods in
- Load and unload finished product onto lorries & into containers.
- Stack pallets in designated storage areas.
- Ensure the safe operation of forklift trucks by following safety guidelines.
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks on forklift trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse procedures and regulations.
Required:
- Valid counterbalance forklift truck license.
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse environment.
- Strong physical fitness to lift heavy loads.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time keeping and strong communications skills
