My client is looking for an experience Hotel manager to join their team on a Permanent basis. You must be customer focused with a clear focus on training and development. To manage an effective cost programme and to ensure budgeted sales and profit targets are met.     

Key Duties of a Hotel Manager:

  • Ensure adherence to company brand standards and SOPs, addressing gaps to maintain consistent product and service quality
  • Review guest feedback with department heads and resolve issues to meet guest care and business objectives
  • Foster a culture of exceptional service, cooperation, and empowerment among the team
  • Support managers in developing and executing business plans, translating them into departmental goals
  • Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring departments meet performance standards
  • Attend internal and external meetings to build guest and business relationships
  • Coordinate with the F&B Manager to ensure high-quality service for events and functions
  • Control departmental costs, including payroll, food, and liquor, and take action to manage overspend
  • Manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and maintained
  • Set and achieve sales and profit targets, analysing data to refine marketing strategies
  • Drive sales awareness and support team members in maximizing sales and up-selling opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards, including proper documentation
  • Ensure department heads are trained and comply with health and safety requirements
  • Manage rotas, oversee duty shifts, and maintain a visible presence
