Absolute Personnel are proudly representing their prestigious client in Reading. They are currently looking for a Hotel Sales Manager to join their expanding team.
They are looking for a person who has a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and a strong strategic approach to target hospitality markets.
Duties of the successful Hotel Sales Manager include:
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing the portfolio of accounts and building a strong relationship with Clients
- Identifying potential clients and business opportunities
- Meeting clients to discuss specific requirements and provide ensure that service is provided
- Negotiating contracts and packages to maximise profit
- Preparing reports on Gaols, sales and Profits and presenting this to senior Management
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the hospitality market
- Working collectively with other departments particularly reservations and front office to ensure the hotel’s services meet clients’ expectations
- Maintaining Accurate records of all policy, sales and activity reports
- Attending trade shows and industry events to broaden your network and increase business
Attributes required of the successful Hotel Sales Manager:
- Proven experience as a Hotel Sales Manager
- Strong understanding of the hospitality market and trends
- Excellent in interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Proficiency with IT and relevant software
- Ability to deliver presentations to both Clients and Senior Managers
