Immediate Start

Our client in Shrewsbury is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Processor to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time role with an immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer orders and quotes accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all paperwork is correctly input into a bespoke industry-specific system.

Key Responsibilities for the successful Order Processor:

  • Process customer orders and quotes received via fax or email, entering data into a tailored program
  • Ensure accurate input of information and adherence to internal procedures
  • Work within a team of Order Processors, taking responsibility for the accuracy and quality of your work
  • Complete tasks promptly while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Conduct general administrative duties such as scanning, filing and ensuring records are kept up to date
  • Audit your work and, where necessary, assist in reviewing colleagues’ work to maintain accuracy
  • Provide feedback and rectifications for any errors found during audits
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the order processing system, requesting additional training as needed
  • Maintain excellent communication and team collaboration to support the wider team’s success
  • Ensure the integrity of data entry, performing tasks on computer systems with a high degree of accuracy

Skills and Experience required for the successful Order Processor:

  • Experience with PVC-U products is preferred but not essential (full training will be provided)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial
  • Good computer and keyboard skills are required for data entry
  • Ability to work independently within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Friendly, patient, and professional approach to tasks and team collaboration
