We are Hiring!
Our client is looking for a caring and dedicated Passenger Assistant to help ensure students have a safe and comfortable journey to and from school. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone seeking flexible, term-time-only work.
You’ll work between Monday and Friday, with morning shifts (7:00 AM – 10:00 AM), afternoon shifts (2:30 PM – 5:00 PM), or both depending on your assigned route.
This is term time only so a great opportunity for this looking for term time only hours.
Duties of a Passenger Assistant:
- Ensure all students have a safe and secure journey.
- Handle and secure wheelchairs appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with the driver to ensure smooth operations.
- Interact professionally with parents during drop-offs and pick-ups.
Required attributes of a Passenger Assistant :
- Compassionate and professional interactions with students.
- Calm and composed in different situations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A willingness to support the needs of students throughout their journey.
No experience is necessary for this position just the willingness to ensure all student needs are met during their journey to and from school.
You will be given full wheelchair training, drivers assessment and route training. Should you be a suitable candidate a full enhanced DBS will be undertaken.
