Up to £50,000 DOE

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their friendly team in Shrewsbury. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week required in the office. We are looking for a Private Client Solicitor who is at least 6 years qualified, with a salary in the region of £42,000 per annum for 6 years qualified, but where more qualified, the salary will be adjusted depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities for a Privat Client Solicitor:

• Managing a caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, and estates
• Drafting and advising on Wills, including for high-net-worth clients
• Advising on APR/BPR (Agricultural Property Relief / Business Property Relief) and Inheritance Tax planning
• Drafting and advising on a variety of Trusts
• Dealing with Estate Administration, including for large inheritance tax-paying estates
• Drafting and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship applications
• Advising on taxation related to trusts and estates
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, offering exceptional service
• Assisting with business development and marketing initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Key Requirements for a Private Client Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 6 years of experience in private client work
• Strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, estate planning, and taxation
• Experience in handling high-net-worth clients and complex estates
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) qualification would be desirable
• Experience in business development and client relationship building is desirable
