My client has been in business for over 50 years, they are a leader in the design, construction, refurbishment and creation of specialist roofing and surfacing solutions for homes, public and private sector clients.
They are currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Roofing Contracts Manager to join their team permanently.
Duties of a roofing contracts manager:
- Managing project works – From placing orders, RAMS, management of the work packages on site
- Control of cost on projects
- Managing a team of people – this is to be discussed
- Advising clients on works and progress updates
- Finding the right projects to be worked on
- Pricing tender packages – visiting site with subcontractors/specialist
- Ordering of materials
- Rasing subcontract orders / POs
- Roof survey works / Measuring of projects
- Managing labour force
Ideal candidate for a roofing contracts manager:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the roofing industry, with a strong emphasis on felt roofing systems.
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft Software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate high-level conversations and projects
